1994-21 RESOLUTION NO. 94- 21
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE ADOPTING A NONDISPOSAL FACILITY
ELEMENT
WHEREAS, California Public Resources Code (PRC), Sections 41730 et seq.
require every California City and County to prepare and adopt a Nondisposal Facility
Element (NDFE) for all new Nondisposal facilities and any. expansions of existing
Nondisposal facilities which are needed to implement the local Source Reduction and
Recycling Element (SRREs); and
WHEREAS, The City of Grand Terrace has prepared, submitted for public
review and is adopting the NDFE for transmittal to the County of San Bernardino and
the California Integrated Waste Management Board; and
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace has provided the required notice 10 days
in advance of the public hearing for the adoption of the NDFE; and
WHEREAS, A draft NDFE was submitted to the San Bernardino County Solid
Waste Advisory Task Force for review and comment regarding the regional impacts
of the Nondisposal facilities in this Element in accordance with PRC Sections 41734(a)
and (b); and
WHEREAS, the adoption or amendment of this element is not subject to
environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA);
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE
DOES HEREBY ADOPT the Nondisposal Facility Element.
