SBCOFD Go ! •Evacuate if asked to do so! •Leave early if needed •Take pertinent documents, medicine and other supplies needed. SBCOFD Standardized Evacuation Terminology •Evacuation Order: Immediate threat to life. This is a lawful order to leave now. The area is lawfully closed to public access. •Evacuation Warning: Potential threat to life and/or property. Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should leave now. •Shelter in Place: Go indoors. Shut and lock doors and windows. Prepare to self-sustain until further notice and/or contacted by emergency personnel for additional direction. SBCOFD PulsePoint •PulsePoint Respond is a 911-connected mobile app that can immediately inform you of emergencies occurring in your community and can request your help when cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is needed nearby. If you’re trained in CPR and are willing to assist in an emergency, the app will alert you if someone near you is having a cardiac emergency and may need CPR. In addition to nearby “CPR Needed” notifications, you can choose to be notified of other events that may impact you and your family, such as wildland fires, flooding and utility emergencies. SBCOFD Watch Duty •Watch Duty is the only wildfire mapping and alert app powered by real people giving you real-time information vetted by trained professionals, not robots. Watch Duty is run by active and retired firefighters, dispatchers, first responders, and reporters who monitor radio scanners in your area around the clock to bring you up-to-the-minute lifesaving info. SBCOFD Community Connect •San Bernardino County Fire Protection District is always looking for ways to better serve our communities. We are excited to partner with Community Connect to help protect those we serve and their property with efficiency. Community Connect is a free, secure, and easy to use platform that allows you to share critical information about your household that will aid emergency personnel when responding to your residence. By providing more information about your household, such as how many pets, family members with disabilities and even medical information, we can ensure that in the time of an emergency, everything you care about is protected to the best of our ability. Thank you for allowing us to serve you. - Fire Chief/Fire Warden Daniel R. Munsey SBCOFD Scan the QR Code for More Info & to Sign up! SBCOFD Questions?
