Background
Park policies and fee structures
adopted in 1994 and 2002.
2012: Development of a comprehensive Facility Use Policy.
2017: 10-year licensing agreement with
CJUSD for shared use of facilities.
Revised Facility Use Agreement
Objectives:
•Clarify applicant responsibilities for using City fields
and facilities.
•Ensure proper maintenance and accessible use of
facilities.
•Introduce a new balanced fee structure for non-profits
and community organizations.
Fee Structure for
Nonprofits and
Community Based Groups
Key Features:
•One-time $10 registration fee for non-profits and community-based groups.
•Booking available Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Fridays, as well as all day Saturday and Sunday.
•Charges for events outside designated times will follow resident rates.
Additional Fees
$32 Cleaning Fee $50 Staff Call-Out
Sports League Pricing
Overview:
•Specific fee structure for
teams.
•$800 for up to 32 hours of
facility use within the same
fiscal year, or $50 per hour
for private teams
Recommendation
Adoption of the revised Facility Use
Agreement fee structure to establish clear
guidelines for facility users, ensure the City
recovers its costs, and maintain accessibility
for local non-profits, community groups,
and sports-related organizations.
