HomeMy WebLinkAboutG.11 - Elimination of Existing City PositionsAUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ELIMINATE EXISTING POSITIONS BACKGROUND City Manager is the administrative head of the municipal organization Entrusted with the day-to-day management of City operations, including the administration of personnel Allow for the implementation of timely, strategic adjustments Oversight The City Manager shall notify the City Council in writing of any position eliminations within fifteen (15) calendar days of such action This action does NOT allow for the City Manager to create positions This does not allow City Manager to exceed adopted budget expenditures beyond those approved by the City Council THANK YOU STAFF RECOMMENDS ADOPTION OF THE RESOLUTION
