In addition to covering some costs for the shower conversion and
bathroom flooring, we were able to furnish new lighting in the shower and
bathroom, new floor mats, towel hooks and a bench in the shower room
changing area.
The entire project took 14 days and over 100
hours and to complete. Thanks to the generous
donations from Grand Terrace Cars & Coffee
members, the community and the City of Grand
Terrace’s financial assistance, they were able to
complete the entire Substation Shower
Conversion and Bathroom floor retiling project
costing $14,109. The costs were mostly
covered by donations. When added to last
year's renovation donations of $9,016, the
contributions total $23,125. Minus the City's
contribution of $4,400,brings the amount
obtained through donations to $18,725.
Mayor Hussey occasionally stopped by to
thank everyone working on the project.
We got a chance for a quick picture of
