•Recently Fire Station 23
received a 2019 KME Type I
Fire Engine.
•1500 Gallons Per Minute
Pump
•500 Gallons of Water
•Tool Compliment to support
SBCoFD’s All-Risk Mission
•Old (2007) Engine 23 will be
moved to reserve status
•10 KME K180 “Rapid Production” Units ordered
•Units Positioned through out Fire District for up-
staffing, reserve units or local emergencies.
•One to be housed at Fire Station 23

EQUIPMENT UPGRADES – AUTO PULSE
•Auto pulse added to ME-23,
•In 2025 ME23 Responded 19 Cardiac
Arrests (CPR) in City of GT.
•Increases ROSC (Return of
Spontaneous Circulation) from 20%
to 34.5%
•Provides consistent, uninterrupted
CPR during cardiac arrests
•Frees up personnel on scene to do
other time-sensitive ALS
interventions
EQUIPMENT UPGRADES – TIC CAMERAS
•Each Firefighter is now equipped
with individual Thermal Imaging
Cameras (TIC)
•Allows Firefighters to locate victims
or fire through smoke and low light
conditions.
• Increases chance of finding victims
during initial search / fire attack.
