1979-17 RESOLUTION N0 . 78- 17 ( SEE RES . #80- 25 & #80- 27 ) RESOLUTION NO. 79-17 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF SALARY RANGES FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE; ESTABLISHING PAY PERIODS AND DATES FOR PAYMENT OF EMPLOY- EE'S SALARY; AND PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRI- ATE SALARY RANGES OF CURRENT EMPLOYEES NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: SECTION 1 . That the schedule of salary ranges of the City of Grand Terrace, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein is here- by established as the schedule of salary ranges for the employees of the City of Grand Terrace. SECTION 2. That the pay periods for the City employees of the City of Grand Terrace shall begin on March 31 , 1979, and the first pay period shall be from that date through and including Friday, April 13, 1979. Thereafter, all pay periods shall begin at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday and be for a period of two weeks, ending on the second following Friday at 12:00 midnight. SECTION 3. That the first payday, pursuant to this Resolution, shall be April 27, 1979, for the pay period ending April 13, 1979. Thereafter, City employees shall be paid every second Friday for the pay period ending two weeks prior to that payday. SECTION 4. That appropriate salary ranges for City employees are here- by established as follows: TITLE SALARY RANGE Clerk-Typist 31 Business License Clerk 37 ■L Executive Secretary/Deputy City Clerk 47 Administrative Services/Finance Officer 67 City Manager 82 SECTION 5. That the period of time for employee advancement after satisfactory job performance from Step "A" through and including Step "E" within any given salary range, shall be as follows: STEP TIME PERIOD "A" 6 Months (or completion of probationary period) "B" 1 Year "C" 1 Year "D" 1 Year "E" 1 Year ADOPTED this 5th day of April , 1979. l Mayor bf the c City of Grand Terrace and of the City Council thereof.
