A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
MAINTENACE AGREEMENT WITH CALTRANS FOR THE
BARTON ROAD/I-215 PROJECT
WHEREAS, San Bernardino County Association of Governments (SANBAG) is funding
the Barton Road/I-21-5 Interchange Project; and
WHEREAS, The project is designed by The State of California Department of
Transportation(Caltrans); and
WHEREAS,.The project will construct various structures within the state right of way but
will be adjacent to City right of way and utilized by City residents and non-residents; and
WHEREAS, A Maintenance Agreement is necessary between the State and the City in
order to stipulate the roles and responsibilities for maintaining .the various components of the
new improvements.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.THAT CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND
TERRACE DOES RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds that all of the above recitals are true and correct and are
incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. The City Council authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to enter into a
Maintenance Agreement with Caltrans pertaining to the Barton Road/I-215 Interchange Project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Grand
Terrace at a regular meeting held on the 11'' day of October, 2016.
