2016-05 - RESOLUTION NO. 2016-05 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE ADOPTED ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2015- 2016 WHEREAS, The City's Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 was adopted during a regularly scheduled City Council meeting on June 23,2015; and WHEREAS, the said FY2015-16 Adopted Budget contains the"Fiscal'Year 2015- 16 Authorized Summary of Positions; and WHEREAS, the said Fiscal Year 2015-16 Authorized Sua==6r of f ositioni s contains all authorized positions in the City required to provide °gzverumenir, servicm to the community; and WHEREAS, the City Council has made such revisions to '�tliejisckl_ ':Year 2015-16 , ;;. Authorized Summary of Positions contained in the FY2015-16 Adoptea-•.Budget as. so desired; and WHEREAS, the Proposed Amendment to the FY2015-16 Authorized Summary of Positions conforms with the City's 2030 Vision and 2014-2020 Strategic Plan; and WHEREAS, the Proposed Amendment to the FY2015-16 Authorized Summary of Positions, as herein approved, will enable the City Council to make adequate financial plans and will ensure that City officers can administer their respective functions in accordance with such plans; and WHEREAS, on January 12, 2016 the City Council Amended the Authorized Summary of Positions as contained in the FY2015-16 Adopted Budget to add two new positions to be effective March 1, 2016;,and WHEREAS, the Proposed Amendment will be creating one new bus driver position, which is non-exempt in the Office of the City Manager. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS;-FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Authorized Summary of Positions as contained in the FY2015- 16 Adopted Budget, is hereby amended to add a bus driver position as set forth in Attachment A to this Resolution and is approved and adopted as part of the Annual Budget of the City of Grand Terrace for Fiscal Year 2015-2016, and said amendment shall become effective immediately. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution, and it shall take effect immediately and be in full force and effect.
