RESOLUTION NO. 2017-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND
TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace submitted an State of California Active
Transportation Program Cycle 2 grant application for the preparation of an Active
Transportation Plan;and
WHEREAS, the City of Grand Terrace was awarded a grant in the amount of
$295,000; and
WHEREAS, on December 8, 2016, the California Transportation Commission
approved the City's allocation request; and
WHEREAS, on March 14, 2017, the City of Grand Terrace received a Program
Supplement Agreement No. P50 to Administering Agency-State Agreement for State
Funded Projects NO. 00507S; and
WHEREAS, on April 25, 2017, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace held
� a public meeting at the Grand Terrace City Hall Council Chambers located 22795
Barton Road; and
1 WHEREAS, all legal prerequisites to the adoption of .this Resolution have
occurred.
NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby found, determined, and resolved by the City Council of
the City of Grand Terrace, as follows:
1. The City Council hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in
the above Recitals, are true and correct.
2. The City Council hereby approves Program Supplemental Agreement P50
between the City of Grand Terrace and State of California, Department of
Transportation.
3. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager as the City Official
authorized to execute the Program Supplemental Agreement P50; and
any other agreement and/or documents related to the Project.
