1981-08 RESOLUTION NO. 81 - 08
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 79-7 AND ESTABLISHING FEES PAYABLE INTO CAPI-
TAL IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE FUNDS FOR STREETS,
PARKS, AND STORM DRAINS ON NEW CONSTRUCTION PUR-
SUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 44:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grand Terrace has passed
Ordinance No. 44, providing for the collection of fees for new constructions;
and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance does provide for these fees to be estab-
lished by resolution as the City Council deems necessary, subject to in-
creases or decreases of future appropriate Consumer Price Indexes semi-
annually with City Council 's approval ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Grand Terrace that every person, firm, or corporation adding to certain
existing structures or constructing any new commercial-industrial building,
dwelling unit, or -trailer space in the- City of Grand Terrace, as enumerated
in Ordinance No. 44, shall pay to the City the sums specified herein prior
to issuance of the Building Permit.
1 . STREET CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE FUND - All proper-
ties within the City limits of the City of Grand Terrace shall pay into the
Street Capital Improvement and Maintenance Fund:
Residential - $550.00 for each single family unit;
Apartments -- $375.00 for each apartment or multiply:
family unit;
Mobile Homes -- $375.00 for each unit; -
Industrial -Commercial :- $550.00 per acre or fractional ;paYa
- thereof.
2. PARK CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE FUND - All proper---
ties within the City limits of the City of Grand Terrace shall pay into
the Park Capital Improvement and Maintenance Fund:
(a)- Residential : - $375.00 for each single family unit;
Apartments:- $275.00 for each apartment or multiple
family unit;
Mobile Homes - $275.00 for each unit;
Industrial-Commercial - $ 100.00 per acre or fractional part
thereof; or
(b) Shall dedicate an area of land for park purposes having a fair
market value equivalent to the fees which would be payable in
accordance with said schedule of fees.
3. STORM DRAIN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND - All properties within
the City limits of the City of Grand Terrace shall pay into the Storm
Drain Capital Improvement Fund:
Residential - $250.00 for each single family unit;
Apartments - $185.00 for each apartment or multiple
family unit;
Mobile Homes - $185.00 for each unit;
Industrial-Commercial - $250.00 per acre or fractional part
thereof.
4. Plan checking fee shall be three (3) percent of the estimated
cost of public improvements with a minimum of $100.00 for residential and
industrial-commercial .
