A RESOLUTION_ OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE-CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, TO DELEGATE
POWERS OF AUTHORITY TO THE CITY MANAGER AND
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, 1995-1996 TRANSIT CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

WHEREAS, the State of Calfornia,Department of Transportation(Caltrans)Transit
Capital Improvement Program is providing funding to local governments and private entities
for public transportation projects (both rail and rubber-tired) and short-line railroad
rehabilitation and railroad/highway or street grade separations and Intermodal Transfer
Stations serving various transportation modes; and
WHEREAS, the applicant desires to enter into an agreement with the State of
California for development of a proposed project (Intermodal/Multi-Purpose Transit
Center); and
NOW,THEREFORE,THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF GRAND TERRACE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. To submit an application, in the name of the City of Grand Terrace, to the
State of California Department of Transportation (CTC), for a Transit
Improvement Program funding.
2. Authorizes Thomas Schwab, City Manager of the City of Grand Terrace and
Chief Executive Officer for the Redevelopment Agency, to execute in the
name of the City of Grand Terrace, all necessary applications, contracts,
agreements and amendments hereto for the purposes of securing funding and
to implement'and carry out the purposes specified in the TCI application.
3. Should the funding be granted for the installation of subject transit center the
Grand Terrace Redevelopment Agency commits to continued funding for the
business operations of the multi-modal/multi-purpose transit center.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Grand Terrace, California at a regular meeting held the 13th day of October, 1994 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Hilkey, Singley, and Buchanan; Mayor Matteson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Mayor Pro Tem Carlstrom
