2013-01 RESOLUTION NO. 2013- 01 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE RELATING TO DETERMINATION OF USE 12-01 DETERMINING THAT HEAVY HAUL TRUCKING FACILITIES ARE NOT PERMITTED USES IN THE M2- INDUSTRIAL ZONE DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Applicant, Mr. Matthew Bishop, has applied for a Determination of Use (DU) 12-01 to operate a heavy haul trucking facility in the M2-Industrial zone district. WHEREAS, on January 10, 2013, the Planning Commission conducted a public meeting at the Grand Terrace Council Chambers located at 22795 Barton Road, Grand Terrace, California 92313 and concluded the meeting on said date. WHEREAS, all legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have occurred. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Grand Terrace: 1. The Planning Commission hereby finds, pursuant to Section 18.40.020.R of the Grand Terrace Municipal Code, that trucking facilities, including heavy haul trucking services are not similar to other contractor office and storage yards which have been permitted in the M2-Industrial zone district, and shall not be permitted in said zone district. 2. The City Clerk of the City of Grand Terrace shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Grand Terrace, California, at a special meeting held on the 10t" day of January, 2013.
