1990-02 RESOLUTION NO. 90-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CUP-90-02 A REQUEST TO OPERATE A MARBLE FABRICATION AND WAREHOUSE FACILITY AT 12210 MICHIGAN STREET WHEREAS, the Applicant, Prestige Marble and Tile, applied for a conditional use permit to operate a marble fabrication and warehousing facility in Suite 1 at 12210 Michigan Street; and WHEREAS, the proposed use is determined to be a permitted use with a conditional use permit per Section 18.63 of the Grand Terrace Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt, Class 3 under the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, a properly noticed public hearing was held before this body on March 6, 1990, for the purpose of considering the proposed project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Grand Terrace, California, that the following findings have been made: 1. The proposed use has been reviewed by the appropriate City reviewing agencies and their comments and recommendations are included as conditions of approval to insure this use will not be detrimental to the general health, safety, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working within the neighborhood of the use or within the City. 2. The occupation of this site for the proposed use, subject to the conditions listed below will not be injurious to property or improvements in the neighborhood or within the City. 3. The current General Plan land use designation for this property is GC and the proposed use is a permitted use for this location as a result of the City's Municipal Code Section 18.63 with regards to nonconforming buildings. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proposed project is subject to the following conditions of approval; 1. All conditions as recommended by the Department of Engineering/Building and Safety in their Memorandum dated February 12, 1990, attached as Exhibit A. 2. All conditions as recommended by the County Department of Environmental Health Services listed in their correspondance dated March 1, attached as Exhibit B. 3. All work associated with Prestige Marble and Tile as applied for with CUP- 90-02 shall be conducted either offsite or within the confines of Suite 1. 4. The hours of operation for the proposed use shall be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. 5. The waste water disposal system including the separator shall be maintained in a good, efficient and operational manner. The disposal of waste water, materials or sediment shall be disposed of in accordance with any City, County, State and Federal regulation. NOW THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE HEREBY APPROVES CUP-90-02 BASED ON THE ABOVE FINDINGS. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Grand Terrace, California, at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of March, 1990, by the following vote:- AYES: 6 - Chairman Hawkinson, Commissioners Buchanan , Hargrave, Munson, Sims and Van Gelder.
