1991-11 RESOLUTION NO. 91 -11 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CUP-88-17, CONDITION #4, KNOWN AS CUP-88-17R2, TO CHANGE THE SUMMER HOURS OF OPERATION FOR AMERICAN MODULAR STRUCTURES, INC., LOCATED AT 21516 MAIN STREET WHEREAS, the Applicant, American Modular Structures, Inc., Bruce F. Bushore, has applied for an amendment to CUP-88-17, condition #4, (Attachment A) allowing the hours of operation to be from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the summer period from June 1 to September 30, every year, for the duration of the subject Conditional Use Permit; and WHEREAS, a properly noticed hearing was held by the Planning Commission on August 1, 1991, where it approved the amendment to CUP-88-17, condition #4, herein referred to as CUP-88-17R2; and NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Grand Terrace, California approved the change of summer hours only, for American t J Modular Structures from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, to 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday for the period from June 1 to September 30, every year for the duration of the subject Conditional Use Permit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Grand Terrace, California, that the following findings have been made: 1. Will the proposed use be detrimental to the general health, safety, morals comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working within the neighborhood of the proposed use or within the City? This finding must be made in the negative. No. The proposed project (change.to the hours of operation) has been reviewed by the appropriate City Reviewing Agencies and the negative impact to the surrounding properties from the revised hours of operation during the summer of 1990 insure this use will not have a detrimental effect to the general health, safety, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working within the neighborhood of the use or within the City. 2. Will the proposed use be injurious to the property or improvements in the neighborhood or within the City? This finding must be made in the negative. No. The proposed project (change to hours of operation) subject to the conditions listed below,will not be injurious to property or improvements in the neighborhood or within the City. 3. Will the proposed use be consistent with the latest adopted General Plan? This finding must be made in the positive. Yes. The current General Plan land use designation for this property is I (Industrial) and M2 (Manufacturing) Zone District. The proposed project (change to hours of operation) will not alter the present and existing land use. 4. Are conditions necessary to secure the purpose of this section? This finding may be made in the positive or the negative. Yes. The condition of approval as listed below are recommended by staff. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the proposed project is subject to the following conditions of approval: 1. Amend Condition#4 of CUP-88-17, for summer hours of operation from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from June 1 to September 30, every year for the duration of the subject Conditional Use Permit. Applicant to provide 300 foot radius map and mailing list every year prior to June 1, for duration of permit. NOW,THEREFORE,the Planning Commission of the City of Grand Terrace hereby approves CUP-88-17R2 based on the above findings. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Grand Terrace, California, at a regular meeting held on the 1st day of August, 1991.
