HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-10 RESOLUTION NO. 87-10 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA APPROVING V-87-2 WHEREAS , the Applicant , James L. Dotson, has applied for approval of V-87-2 which is a variance from the minimum lot depth of 100 feet to 90 feet for a proposed three parcel subdivision located at Willet Court and DeBerry Street ; and WHEREAS, a properly noticed public hearing was held by the Planning Commission on October 19 , 1987 , regarding these applications ; and WHEREAS , the Planning Commission has made the following findings . pursuant to California law and the Grand Terrace Municipal Code : 1 . That the subject property is deprived of privileges enjoyed by other properties in the vicinity and under identical . zoning classification due to special circumstances applicable to the subject property in relation to lot size, shape and location. 2 . That the proposed variance is consistent with the latest adopted General Plan. 3 . That the proposed variance does not allow any land use or activity which is , not in conformity with the regulations specified for the R-1 zone of the City of which this development is a part . 4. The proposed variance will not constitute a grant of special privilege inconsistent with the other properties in the vicinity and under identical zone classification. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of Grand Terrace , California, that pursuant to the findings above, V-87-2 is hereby approved.
