' RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRAND TERRACE ADOPTING
RULES GOVERNING PREFERENCE FOR REENTRY IN
BUSINESS IN THE GRAND TERRACE C01-U4UNITY
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Grand Terrace (the "Agency") has prepared a Redevelopment
Plan for the Grand Terrace Community Redevelopment Project (the
"Project Area") ;
WHEREAS, the Agency desires, when consistent with the ob-
jectives of the Redevelopment Plan, to give preference to exist-
ing owners and business tenants for reentry in business in the
Project Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED
BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF GRAND
TERRACE, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The rules and regulations.entitled:
"Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of
'( Grand Terrace Rules Governing Preference for
Reentry in Business in the Grand Terrace Community
Redevelopment Project."
attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated
herein, shall govern the reentry of owners and business tenants
in the Project Area.
Section 2. The Executive Director of the Agency is hereby
authorized and directed to make said rules and regulations
available at the offices of the Agency for inspection by all
interested persons, and further, to publish a notice of the
availability thereof in the notice of public hearing on the
Redevelopment Plan.
ADOPTED this 26th day of July, 1979.

COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
GRAND TERRACE, CALIFORNIA
RULES GOVERNING PREFERENCE
FOR REENTRY IN BUSINESS
In the
GRAND TERRACE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
All persons engaged in business within the boundaries of Grand Terrace
Community Redevelopment Project (the "Proje.ct. Area") may reenter
the Project .Area in accordance with the following provisions :
1. Should said persons desire to purchase land in the
Project Area from the Agency, they shall be subject to all
rules, regulations and conditions governing any other person --
desiring to purchase property within the Project Area.
. 2 . All persons engaged in business in the Project Area
shall be afforded special consideration regarding their redeve-
lopment plans, provided the quality of their plans is equal to
or better than persons not previously located within the Pro-
ject Area.
3. All persons engaged in business in the Project Area
shall agree to construct all improvements in accordance with
the Redevelopment Plan for the Project- Area. All persons pre-
viously engaged in business in the Project Area shall agree to
remove, or permit the .Agency to remove, any and all restrictions
existing against the property which are contrary to those con-
tained in said Redevelopment Plan or the Declaration of Restric-
-tions and shall permit the Agency' to impose the Declaration of
Restrictions on their property.
4 . Said persons shall file with the Agency evidence,
satisfactory to it, of such persons ' s financial ability to
perform.

to race, sex, color, creed, religion, national origin and ancestry.
. 6. Said persons shall agree to aid the Agency in every way
possible in the temporary relocation of their business prior to
their reentry into the Project Area.

7 . Said persons shall agree to participate in any total,
parking arrangement developed for the Project Area.
8 . Said persons shall agree to maintain and operate their
properties in accordance with the Redevelopment Plan and all
covenants, conditions and restrictions thereof.
9. All persons who may reenter the Project Area shall have
access to copies of the Redevelopment Plan and such other data,
information and records on file in the Agency' s office as may be
allowed by the Agency at reasonable office hours and, at the
decision of the Agency, at any reasonably appointed time. Such
persons may meet with the Agency members at any regular or special
meeting of the Agency to discuss the Redevelopment Plan as it
affects them, providing such person shall make a request so to
meet with the Agency .members at least five (5) working days prior
to that time set for such meeting.
