Presentation of Commendation to San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department Captain
Stephen Dorsey
Ken Henderson, former Interim City Manager, congratulated Deputy Chief Dorsey on
his promotion and stated his admiration for the work he-has done for the City of Grand
Terrace.
Mayor McNaboe on behalf of the entire Council presented the commendation to Deputy
- Chief Stephen Dorsey.

PUBLIC COMMENT
t Mona Thomas, Grand Terrace requested that a crossing guard be placed at the corner
of Michigan Street and Barton Road. Her son was hit by a car at the intersection on his
way to school and has concerns for the safety of others.
Jeffrey McConnell, Grand Terrace shared his concerns with the growing number of
homeless in the area and wanted to inform Council and residents.

Repealing and Replacing in Its Entirety Chapter 18.91 (Marijuana Regulations) of Title
18 of the Grand Terrace Municipal Code.

G. Harold Duffey, City Manager provided information to .the City Council on various
upcoming events.

Mayor Pro Tem Robles directed the City Attorney to present the report.
Richard Adams, City Attorney announced that the City Council unanimously decided not
to pursue. litigation at this time. City Attorney Adams was directed to prepare a letter to
the water company to facilitate a franchise fee agreement.
