OCTOBER 2, 2018 MINUTES — REGULAR MEETING

Item 1: The meeting was called to order at 5:14 p.m. by Chairman Tickner.
Item 2a: The meeting Agenda was approved.
Item 2b: The minutes for the September 11, 2018 special meeting were approved.
Item 2c: Continue CERT Organization
• Discussion of bylaws: The Committee and resident volunteers revised the final
'CERT bylaws draft. The EOC committee made a motion to approve the
revisions to the bylaws with the comments from the.meeting.
• The City Council meeting date was scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 2018.
City Staff will finalize the Staff Report, Resolution, and Revise the Bylaws..
Item 2d: City of Grand Terrace Fabulous 40th Anniversary Family Picnic and Car Show
• The group confirmed volunteer's participation. Staff will prepare the information
packages for the event.
Item 2e Light Up Grand Terrace Event Scheduled for Thursday, November 29, 2018.
Three volunteers were needed for the event to hold an education/outreach booth.
Chairman Tickner, Resident Alan, and Resident Villasenor volunteered.
Item 2f. Radio Station AM 1640
• Chairman Tickner gave an update regarding the radio'site visit conducted with
the City's IT consultant and gave an update regarding online radio streaming. IT
will provide the City with an equipment proposal and options for the remote
programing.
Item 3: Next regular meeting date scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, 2018, will be
cancelled due to the elections, and a special meeting will be scheduled for Tuesday,
November 13, 2018.
