MAY 19, 1994
The regular meeting of the Grand Terrace Planning Commission was called to order at the
Grand Terrace Civic Center, 22795 Barton Road, Grand Terrace, California on May 19,
1994 at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Jim Sims.

7:00 P.M. CONVENED PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:
Commissioner Van Gelder commented that the Metrolink is fantastic. She
also stated that the Commission needs to be careful with regard to
parliamentary procedures. The Planning Secretary stated she would obtain
information from the City Clerk for distribution at the next meeting.
The Interim Community Development Director updated the Commission on
the City entry monument sign and on speed limit signs that are placed at the
entrance to the City on the hill.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW OF A MANUFACTURED OFFICE UNIT IN THE M2 ZONE
The Interim Community Development Director presented the staff report.
Commissioner Addington stated that he would be abstaining from this item.

Mr. Cash thanked staff for their patience. He stated that the last remaining
issue is the permanent water service and said the temporary service through
the City of Riverside is not a problem. He said if there is any difficulty
getting a signature from Southern California Edison, the City of Riverside has
assured Hood Communications that they will extend the water service for 30
days. He said Hood Communications will construct the pipeline, and it will
take two days to install it. He said they are confident they will have the
permanent water service by June 6, 1994.
