Minutes for February 2, 2015
The meeting was called to order at 6:08 pm by Chairperson Pauline Grant. Those
also present were Ann Petta, Masako Gifford, Martina Boentaran, Susan Robles,
Martha Monteon, Carol Jacobs Interim City. Manager and City Clerk Pat Jacquez
Nares. Frances Carter and Shelly Rosenkild were absent.
SECRETARY'S REPORT: The minutes of January 5, 2015 were read and approved by
Ann and seconded by Masako.
TREASURER'S REPORT: The budget shows a total balance of -$606.96 and a petty
cash of $218.18. Ann'.s expense of $24.95 was for ham, not-bread and butter.
Masako's expense $7.00 for cleaning of table .cloths.
HISTORICAL REPORT: Carol Jacobs donated a 2011 calendar, featuring the Art
Work by Grand Terrace Children; the calendar will be. kept for the Historical ar
chives. The Grand Terrace High School has been doing a good job of updating
their display in the glass case in the lobby of City Hall.
OLD BUSINESS: Thank you notes for the Country Fair participating Judges and
volunteers have been sent.
NEW BUSINESS: Art Show
Shelly will be in charge of applications, advertisement and updating posters.
She will call the Grand Terrace High School about some art entries from the
school and Ann will be calling the artists and make sure that we have enough
entries for our show.
CALENDAR FOR 2015
Masako already scheduled the next Country Fair for 2015 at the Lions Community
Center for Saturday November 7th 2015.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 pm.
