Those also present were Anrn.Petta, Masako Gifford, Frances Carter, Martina Boentaran, Susan Robles, Martha Monteon-and City Clerk, Pat Jacquez Nares. Shelly Rosenkild was absent. SECRETARY'S REPORT: The minutes of October 8, 2015 were read and approved on a motion by Ann and seconded. by Susan, with all members in favor. TREASURER'S REPORT: The budget shows .a total balance of $1 ,200.00 and'a petty cash of $149.71 . Masako's'expenses were $44.91 for supplies. Motion to reim- burse Masako from 220 account by Frances and seconded by Ann, with all-in favor. Country Fair Insurance premium cost of .$306.00 reimbursed from 220 account. HISTORICAL REPORT: The Senior Citizens Complex will be the organization to be honored this year at the City's Annual Potluck Dinner. Their.Program Presenta- tion will be approximately 20 minutes. T1be Seniors will take care of the glass display case in the lobby of City Hall, -err the end of November. NEW BUSINESS: November 7, 2015 update: Country Fair Ann noted ,that we had 30. vendors, including the City of Grand Terrace and the Water Department; a few more than last year. Pauline is completing the list of Judges for the chili cook-off and baking contests. i a The Committee unanimously-agreed to set the prices for the raffle tickets as fol- lows: $1 .00 each, 7 tickets for $5.00 or 20 tickets for $1.0.00. Martina will prepare the posters for the raffle ticket prices. Bobbie Kay Forbes will volunteer at the raffle table, selling tickets. Frances brought a gift donation from Burt's Jewelry and Susan is still contacting local businesses for gift donations and she will arrange the gifts in baskets. Ruth Ann Christianson from the Lions Club will open the -Community Center at 6:30 A.M. The Boy Scouts have volunteered to help us at City Hall. Sandy Anderegg and Alice Hallwachs will help Frances on Stage with the food and baking contests. It should be noted that if it rains: the event is cancelled. Mr. Harold Duffey, City Manager, is requesting a representative from our Committee to be present at the City Hall meeting on Wednesday, November 4, at 10:00 A.M. , to discuss the City"s Holiday Decorations Project..
