Country Fair Guidelines
Mission Statement:
The Country Fair began as, and continues to be, an arts and crafts show with an emphasis
in exhibiting local arts and craft talent in area such as paintings, ceramics and hand sewn
items. Home-grown plants & produce are also sold. Baking and cooking skills are
showcased in competition and sold after judging. The goal is to exhibit items that are
locally produced by people who live or work in Grand Terrace, and to provide a family-
friendly, fun and non-controversial community event.
The Country Fair is not intended to be a venue for controversial political and religious
messages that would interfere with-this purpose. To that end of providing a neutral
environment free of advocacy to be enjoyed by both locals and their families, the County
Fair seeks to exclude (as permissible by law) the presence of both political and religious
content at the County Fair: This exclusion seeks to avoid imposing political or religious
messages upon attendees. This exclusion (as permissible by law)from the Country Fair of
both political and religious messages (whether by advocacy or display) is also intended to
avoid on the part of the Country Feathe']# of Grand Terrace any appearance of
sponsorship or, or advocacy for, ar or religious affiliation.
